Il progetto
L'idea, o meglio il desiderio, è quello di raggiungere la Mongolia dal Ticino (e ritorno) in 3 mesi. Viaggeremo a bordo di un Defender 90.
Il percorso si snoderà attraverso Italia, Slovenia, Croazia, Serbia, Bulgaria per raggiungere la Turchia. Qui visiteremo la Cappadocia per poi proseguire in direzione di Baku (Azerbaijan) da dove, via traghetto, attraverseremo il Mar Caspio per Raggiungere Aktau (Kazakistan).

Il resto del programma è un po' più incerto. Tutto dipenderà molto dalla possibilità (e volontà) di entrare in Russia senza correre rischi inutili per raggiungere la Mongolia.

In ogni caso prevediamo anche di visitare l'Uzbekistan, il Tajikistan e il Kirghizistan con una puntata sulla Pamir Highway

The project
The idea, or better the wish, is to reach Mongolia from Ticino (and return) in 3 months. We'll travel with a Defender 90.
The road will first twists and turns among Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria to reach Turkey. Here we'll have pause for a while and visit Cappadocia. We'll then continue direction Baku (Azerbaijan) and from there we'll cross, by ferry, the Caspian Sea and reach Aktau (Kazakhstan).

The remaining plan is still a bit uncertain. It all depends from the possibility (end willingness) to enter Russa without any risk in order to reach Mongolia.

In any case we foresee to visit Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan and drive the Pamir Highway
